UST Monitoring Plan • •
Stockton Service Center
•
INTRODUCTION
The Stockton Division presently has approximately nine (9) underground storage tanks in use within its service
area. This document outlines methods and procedures for the continuous monitoring of the structural integrity of
the tanks and related piping systems, and for leak response requirements. The information contained herein was
compiled as guide to the administration of the program pertaining to the underground storage tanks located at
Stockton Service Center.
The Environmental Affairs Department implemented several years ago an aggressive, on-going, program for the
identification, removal, closure, and/or replacement of underground storage tanks that no longer meet strict
groundwater protection standards. This plan is intended to lead local administrators and other responsible
employees in the continuous monitoring of existing tanks so that the tanks will maintain an environmentally safe
and healthy workplace for all employees.
Questions regarding the information contained in this booklet should be directed to the Division Environmental
Specialist, Dave Germann, who can be reached at company telephone extension 8/842-1566.
•
•
UST Monitonng Plant.do
