(PHI) is requesting an interpretation for the use of aboveground <br /> dispenser containment on an underground tank system for the above referenced.facility. <br /> PHI is the design/build contractor for the RTD project. Attached, are the approved permit <br /> drawing (Exhibitl), dispenser cut sheets (Exhibit 2) and the proposed aboveground <br /> containment sumps (Exhibit 3). <br /> The project includes: <br /> Diesel Fueling System <br /> Peterson Hydraulics, Inc. (PHI)installed two (2)40,0009allon double- <br /> wall FRP Containment Solutions diesel fuel tanks. Bus fueling will take <br /> place in the Fuel Brake Building with four(4)high flow 40 GPM PMC <br /> dispensers with satellites inside the building and one (1) 22 GPM standard <br /> flow Gasboy dispenser outside the building. The four(4)high flow <br /> dispensers are the units PHI is requesting the interpretation on. Pumps <br /> include four(4)FE Petro 2 hp turbines VST with Veeder-Root line leak <br /> detectors. Dispensers will be,controlled with the Fleetwatch Fuel <br /> Management System. The system will be monitored with a Veeder-Root <br /> TLS 350 for code compliance. Double-wall containment sumps will be <br /> installed at all outdoor dispensers, tank sumps,pipe transition sumps, and <br /> vent pipe transitions. Underground piping is double-wall Smith FRP pipe. <br /> J <br />
