9) On drawing FS-12, identify the calculated vacuum zone volumes to confirm that each proposed
zone (for 3" and 4" piping) will be less than 500 gallons. Please provide a list of all vacuum zones
and sensor numbers that will be utilized to motor these zones. Please revise and resubmit, as
appropriate.
10) On drawing FS-12 (20,000 gallon tank), it appears that the 87 product and the vapor recovery
piping is connected outside the STP sump. Please revise and resubmit.
11) On drawing FS-12, the note in the upper left corner (3-way valve mounting detail) still indicates
that a 'N' vacuum tubing from tank annular" will be installed; brine monitored tanks were
proposed. Please clarify and revise as appropriate.
12) The Buoyancy Calculations (20,000 Gallon tank) on page FS-3 has an addition error in the total
tank uplift calculation. It is shown that 166,436 LBS + 6,271 LBS = 176,486 LBS. Tank length is
given as 38'-2 3/4" and it appears that in the hold down calculations 37.5' was used for the
calculations. Please verify that math calculations are correct and that correct measurements are
being used. Revise as appropriate and resubmit.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call me at (209) 953-7699 or Cesar Ruvalcaba at (209) 953-
6213.
Thank you,
ElenaMzo, Sr. REHS
Sr. Registered Environmental Health Specialist
CL (urree+ Sunol+
,?g23 E.
