This Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan <br /> (Plan) is intended to address both worker and community health and safety concerns. It is <br /> based upon the requirements of 8 CCR§ �192(b)(4)et seq. This Plan is intended as a partof <br /> other required written programs addressing specific hazards, e.g. Respiratory Protection <br /> Program, Injury and Illness Prevention Pro ram, Confined Space Program, etc. <br /> Site Activities <br /> As stated, the purpose of the project is to remove and replace underground storage tanks <br /> containing unleaded gasoline and waste leum products. Construction materials are semi- <br /> fluid substances such as concrete and asp alt and solid materials such as pea gravel and <br /> excavated dirt. Electrical wiring will be con acted as necessary. Acute exposure may produce <br /> symptoms of nausea, vomiting, dizziness,drowsiness,facial flushing, blurred vision, slurred <br /> speech, difficulty swallowing, staggering, confusion and euphoria. Remove the victim from <br /> exposure area to fresh air irranediately. If tireathing has stopped, give artificial respiration, <br /> maintain almray and blood pressure and inister oxygen, if available. Keep affected person <br /> warm and at rest. Treat symptomatically a d suppOrtively. Get medical attention immediately. <br /> If necessary. contact the DOCTORS HOS ITAL(209) 239-8301, 1205 E.
