' Work shall be arranged to avoid long periods of <br /> sitting still or standing. <br /> Symptoms of cold stress may include shivering, numbness, low body <br /> temperature, drowsiness, and weakness . <br /> Treatment for Cold Stress Include the Following: <br /> ' Move victim into warm room as soon as possible <br /> • Be alert for breathing difficulties; start rescue <br /> ' breathing techniques, if necessary <br /> • Remove wet or frozen clothing; immediately rewarm <br /> ' victim by wrapping in blankets <br /> • Give victim hot liquids to drink, only if conscious <br /> • Follow treatment for frostbite <br /> • Consult professional medical help, if required <br /> Hearing Conservation Program <br /> All on-site IT personnel shall wear hearing protection when noise <br /> levels exceed 85 dBA as per IT Procedure 9650. All IT personnel <br /> shall also receive baseline and annual audiograms and training as <br /> to the causes and prevention of hearing loss . Noise monitoring <br /> is discussed in Section 1.5.1 . <br /> DELINEATED WORK ZONES <br /> Delineated Zones <br /> ' The work area will include three separate zones: an exclusion <br /> work zone, a contamination reduction zone, and a clean or support <br /> zone . <br /> ' The exclusion zone or work zone will include areas of suspected <br /> contamination. All employees will use proper personnel <br /> ' protective equipment when working in contaminated areas .
