2.2 Job Descriptions of Key Personnel <br /> PROJECT MANAGER: The Project Manager(PM) is responsible for ensuring that all <br /> activities are conducted according to the Schedule of Work, the HASP and any other <br /> applicable regulations. The PM will monitor the schedule and ensure the availability of <br /> ' personnel, equipment and subcontractors. The PM will be responsible for the quality <br /> control of the services. <br /> ' FIELD SUPERVISOR: The Field Supervisor(FS) is responsible for coordinating the <br /> field activities. The FS reports to the PM. The FS is responsible for ensuring that all <br /> ' field activities are conducted according the Schedule of Work, the HASP and any other <br /> applicable regulations. <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER: The Health and Safety Officer (HSO) will be <br /> present on-site whenever field activities are being conducted. The HSO will report to the <br /> FS. The HSO is responsible for implementing the HASP at the site. The HSO is <br /> responsible for conducting daily briefings covering site-specific hazards and the <br /> procedures to be used by site personnel in conducting activities in a safe manner. The <br /> HSO is also responsible for determining the levels of protection to be used by site <br /> ' personnel in conducting their activities. <br /> ' 3.0 HEALTH RISK ANALYSIS <br /> 3.1 Physical Hazards <br /> ' 3.1.1 Confined Space Entry <br /> It is not anticipated that there will be a need for a confined space entry procedure <br /> during the excavation. However, should the need arise, a copy of the OSHA <br /> proposed procedures will be used as will be the required permitting form. This <br /> procedure is based on the Criteria Document for a Recommended Standard for <br /> Working in Confined Spaces issued by the National Institute for Occupational <br /> ' Safety and Health (NIOSH). See Section B. <br /> 7 <br />
