' 5.0 WASTE HANDLING PROCEDURES <br /> Quantities of solids and liquids will be generated as a result of the activities to be <br /> conducted at the Site. This material will include health and safety equipment worn by <br /> site personnel, the material which comprises the base and cover of the overburden staging <br /> ' area, the material comprising the decontamination area and rinsate from personnel and <br /> equipment decontamination. <br /> Potentially contaminated material will be stored in containers approved by the United <br /> States Department of Transportation (USDOT). These containers may include 55 gallon <br /> steel drums, bulk lift bags,rolloffs or similarly approved containers. The containers will <br /> ' be stored in an secure location on-site until disposal can be arranged by an approved <br /> landfill. <br /> 6.0 DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br /> 6.1 Personal Decontamination <br /> ' Personnel and equipment leaving the exclusion zone shall be thoroughly decontaminated. <br /> The following protocol shall be used for the decontamination stations according to levels <br /> of protection: <br /> ' Level D: 1. Equipment drop. Level D+: 1. Equipment drop <br /> ' 2. Hand/Face Wash 2. Outer boot and glove wash <br /> 3. Outer boot and glove rinse <br /> 4. Outer boot and glove removal <br /> ' 5.
