' Robert McClellon,REHS <br /> Jeff Carruesco,REHS, RDI <br /> ,. �P Kasey Foley,REHS <br /> Website: www.sjgov.org/ehd Linda Turkatte,REHS <br /> 2011 Phone: (209)468-3420 <br /> Fax: (209)464.0138 <br /> Scott Covey <br /> Covey Engineering Inc <br /> 985 Kendall Drive, Suite A-151 <br /> San Bernandio, CA 92407 <br /> Re: YRC Inc SR0061778 <br /> 1535 East Pescadero Ave, Tracy, CA 95376 Revised <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to perform the following repairs on the underground storage tank <br /> (UST) system at the above noted address: <br /> Install a pull annular sensor on the T-4 gear oil tank by removing the stuck push annular sensor <br /> by breaking concrete and removing the riser on the T-4 gear oil tank. <br /> Replace the T-5 motor oil annular sensor. <br /> Verify the placement position for: annular sensors on tanks T-3 antifreeze, T-4 gear oil, T-5 <br /> motor oil, and T-6 waste oil and liquid detection sump sensor for L-2 diesel and L-14 waste oil. <br /> Repairs will made to the T-6 waste oil tank to by removing the stuck pull wrap around annular <br /> sensor by breaking concrete, removing the riser on the waste oil tank and if needed, install a <br /> new annular sensor. Installation on the waste oil tank will include: 12" capped vapor manway, a <br /> 5 gallon spill bucket and a new drop tube, if needed. <br /> Each tank, T-3 antifreeze, T-4 gear oil, T-5 motor oil and T-6 waste oil, have a tank level gauge <br /> that is set at 90% overfill and 95% high product as their overfill prevention method in conjunction <br /> with their mechanical flapper. A four-relay module will be installed in the monitoring panel <br /> programmed with the tank level gauge to function with an overfill alarm and acknowledgement <br /> device, installed in the bay truck shop, to provide audible and visual alarm. <br /> The approved permit has been revised with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR)Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br />
