SANAMUIN <br />—COUNTY <br />tiMenyty <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br />under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site <br />who possesses all of the following: <br />a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, and <br />b. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br />Council (ICC), and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br />installed. <br />The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br />(CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov and ensure that all UST information is current. <br />All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br />required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br />Regulations (CCR) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br />Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
