Contact the fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> applicable permits. <br /> 2. At least one person who holds the International Code Council (ICC) UST Installer/Retrofitter <br /> certification and manufacturers' certificate of training for all components installed must be onsite <br /> when work is performed. <br /> 3. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from the <br /> manufacturer of that component. <br /> 4. Any changes shall be submitted to EHD for approval prior to commencing work. All new <br /> submittals supercede the previous ones. <br /> 5. All piping, fittings, sumps, under-dispenser containment and tanks must be certified by an <br /> API, ASTM, etc. See <br /> independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization. (LII_,, ULC,ANSI, <br /> Title 23 Chapter 16 Table B for complete list.) <br /> 6. All USTs shall be anchored using deadmen as detailed in the permit application. <br /> 7. All monitoring systems shall be listed on the LG113-16. <br /> 8. All installation and testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, section 2635 <br /> and section 2636 of California Code of Regulations (CCR) <br /> 9. All piping must slope to a containment sump with an audible/visual alarm. <br /> 10. All connections (shraeder valves) from the vacuum on the piping to the vacuum source must be <br /> turned down in the piping sump. <br /> 11. All tank top openings that are connected to the primary ary <br /> space of the UST must have second <br /> containment, audible/visual alarm and be vapor tight or terminate at grade. <br /> entering the backfill. <br /> 12.
