0 0 <br /> • A spill incident report will be prepared after cleanup is complete, in <br /> accordance with 40 CFR 302. <br /> D5.0 TRAFFIC AND NOISE CONTROL <br /> D5.1 Traffic <br /> All vehicles will be required to observe the speed limits and park at areas allowed <br /> by the COR at the job site. The work area will be fenced or barricaded after work <br /> hours. A log of entries and exits will be maintained. <br /> D5.2 Noise <br /> Whenever feasible, engineering control will be implemented to maintain noise levels <br /> below 85 decibels. These controls will include isolation, enclosure, and application <br /> of noise reduction materials. In the event than these methods are not feasible or <br /> effective, affected site personnel will be given personnel hearing protection devices. <br /> D6.0 SITE MONITORING AND INSPECTIONS <br /> D6.1 Site Monitoring <br /> iPrior to construction activities, the SHO and Contractor Quality Control (CQC) <br /> System Manager will inspect the work area for potential hazards, soil impacted by <br /> previous site activities, existing surface waters, potential erosion and water run-on <br /> run-off problems, and previously damaged vegetation. Noted items will be <br /> documented in the quality control log using qualitative and quantitative form of <br /> measurements, maps and other types of documentation. The SHO will continue <br /> observing the noted items during work activities. Also, he will assist the CQC <br /> System Manager during post construction activities to assure that the site meets all <br /> restoration standards. <br /> D6.2 Inspection <br /> Each work day the SHO will conduct visual inspection of the work area for fugitive <br /> dust, safety, protective gear, releases of oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluid from the <br /> equipment, and vegetation damages. The nature of the inspection will be <br /> documented. Upon the discovery of any violation, the SSHO will issue a notice of <br /> the violation and give it to the CQC System Manager and Project Manager <br /> immediately. These violations will be corrected and properly documented. <br /> i <br /> D-5 <br />
