Site Safety and Health Plan • <br /> UST Removal Project <br /> ABF Freight System,Inc. <br /> Manteca,California Page 22 <br /> • Step 2: As necessary, request assistance from outside sources and/or allocate <br /> personnel and equipment resources for response. <br /> Step 3: Notify the Site Safety Officer and/or Field Supervisor. <br /> Step 4: As appropriate, evacuate site personnel and nearby public and contain <br /> hazards. <br /> Step 5: Consult the posted emergency phone list and contact key project personnel. <br /> Step 6: Prepare an incident report. Forward incident report to Project Manager/Health <br /> and Safety Manager within 24 hours. <br /> 6.1.2 Injury <br /> If an injury occurs, take the following action: <br /> Step 1: Assess the severity of the injury and perform life-saving first aid/CPR as <br /> necessary (and able) to stabilize the injured person. <br /> • Step 2: Get medical attention for the injured person immediately. (Call 911 or consult <br /> Personnel and Services Phone List - Table 1-1) <br /> Step 3: Notify the Site Safety Officer and Field Supervisor immediately. The Site <br /> Safety Officer will assume charge during a medical emergency. <br /> Step 4: Depending on the type and severity of the injury, notify the Corporate <br /> Consulting Physician or the occupational physician for the injured person. <br /> Step 5: Notify the injured person's personnel office, including the Regional Manager, <br /> Project Manager, and Health and Safety Manager. <br /> Step 6: Prepare an accident report.
