Date June 25, 1999 <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> This monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at all times. The information on this monitoring program are <br /> conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San Joaquin County.OES and San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health within 30 days of any changes to the monitoring procedures,unless required to obtain approval before making the change. <br /> Required by Sections 2632(d)and 2641(h)CCR. <br /> Facility Name Ben-Holt/I-5 Shell <br /> FacilityAddress 3011 W. Benjamin Holt, Stockton <br /> 1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? Note: <br /> If released hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or explosion <br /> hazard, are not cleaned up from the secondary containment within 8 hours, or <br /> deteriorate the secondary containment,then San Joaquin County, OES and San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health must be notified within 24 hours. For small spills the on <br /> site personnel will use absorbent material to clean un the released material. hi the event of a <br /> larger spill, the dealer will call 9-1-1 (if necessary), his/her Eauilon Representative and the <br /> Equilon Engineer to assist in the emergency. If the Veeder Root panel goes in to alarm <br /> Veeder Root will notify Equilon. <br /> 2. Describe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and properly <br /> disposing of any hazardous substances. <br /> Spent absorbent will be placed into an approved container and disposed of in accordance <br /> with all Local. State, and Federal laws and regulations The dealer is responsible for <br /> coordinating the disposal of all used absorbent.. Any additional equipment will be provided <br /> be the responding contractor. <br /> 3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 above. <br /> Absorbent is maintained on site and restocked as needed by the site personnel. Any <br /> additional equipment is maintained by the contractor, and available on an as needed basis. <br /> 4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment. <br /> Absorbent is inspected weekly and reordered as needed. AW equipment provided by the <br /> responding contractor is the responsibility of that contractor. <br /> 5.
