In a situation <br />where 2.5" is not possible, crossings need to be padded with 1/2" or thicker rubber needs to be <br />placed over the top of the lower pipe in the assembly. Make sure rubber padding is in place on all <br />potientail contact points.The bedding of the pipe must be done properly and special attention <br />must be paid to make sure padding remains in place during the backfill process. The 2.5" clearance <br />must be met on all pipe crossings, or the pipe padded per our instructions to satisfy NOV's <br />requirements.
