Charter Way, Stockton <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to replace the direct bury 87 spill container on the underground <br />storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the <br />following conditions: <br />Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Overfill prevention verification: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume <br />shut off (if necessary). <br />b. Corrosion protection: Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to <br />backfilling. <br />c. Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5 -gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic <br />test (or equivalent). Proper drainage must also be verified. <br />d. Secondary containment testing on 87 UST (see condition #4). <br />Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 grade tank prior to <br />the EHD inspection and approval. <br />4. Since concrete will be broken near the diesel UST, a secondary containment test must <br />be performed on the diesel UST once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br />manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
