Fm:KPR To:FW: Can you please Fax (12094683433)
19:12 10/05/15 ET Pg 13-17
14. Toxic Considerations: Antifreeze is toxic to humans and animals. Waste antifreeze contains heavy metals
such as lead, cadmium, and chromium in high enough levels to potentially make it a regulated hazardous
waste, so most states strictly regulate antifreeze disposal. Antifreeze generators and state and local prooprams
should not dump sfrent antifreeze on laud or discharge it into a sanitary sewer, storm drain, ditch, dry well, or
septic system; dumping antifreeze can cause serious water gualib, problems and might harm people, pets, or
wildlife.
1.5. AST secondary containment (material/design/listed) AST has integral secondary containment via cinder
block concrete berm. There are 3 tanks within the berm and allowing for displacement from the other ASTs,
the capacity of secondary storage is 757 gals, which is larger than the contents of the lareest container within
the berm. There is adequate secondam, capacity to account for freeboard precipitation in the berm. There is
no valve in the berm to release water and such operations are accomplished manually.
16. Damage to AST or systems. No damage reported by Owner/Operator
17. Comments
a.
