AST Configuration & age of AST Horizontal AST Single wall steel/approx.15 yrs, old ( estimate )
Ia. Useful Life Remaining of AST Approximately 15 years of remaining life (Subsection k1 -k10)
2. AST Primary vessel construction (describe) 570gals/Waste Oil/UL# 402905 /UL142-Container/ Made to UL
142 construction standard -at least .123in. steel thickness per UL Std,
3. AST piping (describe) 1 in galvanized and painted piping from Graco Husky 1040 Pump to 2 in opening
w/fittinE. from pump for supply to top of AST.
4. Internal/External pump description external Graco Husky 1040 pump w/2 solenoid 12volt-10-200psi—
External pump, which pumps waste oil from service areas (see Pic)
5. AST drawing (provided/drawn: source) (see attached)
6. Design Standard (ASMI~;, UL, etc.) UL 142 -Cylindrical Single Wall Steel /Mfr: ACE Tank
7. AST foundation (describe) concrete berm sub -floor, Base of AST under UL 142 adequate to withstand the
load of a full tank -Tank is anchored to floor
8. AST anchoring (seismic zone/floatation risk) AST is anchored to the floor slab with 3/8 in. diameter
expansion anchors into the concrete berm floor. Stockton is in a (ground -shaking) seismic region, but the AST
is unlikely to move outside the room in an event nor pose a risk of flotation in such an event. The AST is
situated in secured lubricants room.
9. AST will withstand frost -heave XX Yes No AST sits in concrete cinder block berm
10. AST previously relocated? Yes XX No
11. AST Corrosion Protection Tank is completely covered in paint, without evidence of corrosion. Tank has
no specific corrosion protection beyond the paint No part of the AST touches the wound. The base of the
AST is steel, raising the AST 1 inch above the floor. There is no evidence of corrosion taking place, however
there is debris beneath AST which should be removed. Tank's construction material is carbon steel.
12. AST Spill Prevention Equipment AST has product is placed into AST via pumping from external Graco
Husky Pump Product generaRv not handled outside of its intended containers. Product removal occurs via
pumping out thru a 2 plugged opening in top of AST
13. Overfill Protection: AST sits in concrete berm with a Sentry product level alarm in the berm. This alarm
was tested and found to be operatine. The sound was minimal, and indicative that the batteries in the Alarm
should be changed AST has Krueger level gauge to indicate product levels in AST.
