Small spills (less than 10 gallons and only requiring 15 minutes to clean up) <br /> will be cleaned up using absorbent materials. <br /> 2. Larger spills will be reported to the Owner by the maintenance supervisor or <br /> delivery truck driver before returning to the terminal. The Owner will <br /> notify a local Petroleum Maintenance Contractor who is equipped with a <br /> N.F.P.A. approved type hand pump, vacuum and transport container. <br /> 3. Spills will be cleaned up within 8 hours of detection, returned to local <br /> terminal and/or disposed of in a lawful manner. <br /> 4. Owner shall record all spills whether it is due to delivery overfill or <br /> accidental spillage, which exceeds approximately ten gallons, and action <br /> taken on recordable discharge log. <br /> 10. FACILITY INSPECTIONS: <br /> a. Weekly inspections shall be made of: <br /> 1. SuhTezged pump boxes <br /> 2. Fill boxes (also inspected after each delivery) <br /> b. Monthly inspections shall be made of: <br /> 1. Inventory control reoords <br /> c. Periodic inspection shall be made of dispenser for signs of leakage. <br /> 11. EMERGENCY EWIPMERr: <br /> a. Twice a year inspections and tests shall be made of: <br /> 1. Shear valves at dispensers <br /> 2. Emergency pump shut-off switch <br /> 3. Inventory of absorbent materials <br /> 4. Automatic overfill prevention valve <br /> b. Yearly inspections and tests shall be made of fixe extinguisher(s) . <br />
