WIRING MEIHODS: Splice branch circuit conductors #10AWG or smaller, as follows: <br /> Twist conductors together, solder and tape with rubber and friction tapes, or <br /> high-dielectric strength plastic tape, or use preinsulated spring-pressure type <br /> connectors, Scotchlok, Ideal, Wing-Nut, or equal. <br /> Branch circuit conductors shall be color-coded to match existing. <br /> Conduit systems, supports, cabinets, motor frames, etc. , shall be permanently <br /> and effectively grounded per Code. <br /> Information on plans relative to existing installation is approximate only. <br /> Minor deviations found necessary during progress of work to conform to actual <br /> locations shall be made as required. <br /> 3. NAMEPLATES: Provide nameplates on all switches and revise panel-board directory <br /> to suit new work. <br /> H. GROUNDING: Grounding of all equipment shall be per local requirements. Ground and <br /> bond all cabinets, conduits, electric appliances, equipment, motor frames and motor <br /> bases in accordance with requirements of the National Eelctrical Code. Grounding <br /> connection shall be accessible for inspection and shall be made with an approved <br /> ground clamp. <br /> I. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: Provide starters and disconnect switches where indicated. See <br /> manufacturer's drawings. <br /> J. HAZARDOUS AREAS: Conduit system fittings and electrical equipment shall conform to <br /> NEC Section 500, Class 1, Group D, Hazardous Classification. <br /> 6-152 DISPENSER TESTS <br /> A. Dispenser meters shall be adjusted as near as possible to zero error. Advise Owner's <br /> representative of any meter that cannot be held to + or - 3-1/2 cubic inches of <br /> tolerance in a 5-gallon measure, for repair under manufacturer's warranty if <br /> applicable. Tests will be made according to methods prescribed by department of <br /> weights and measures. Cost of pump operating license shall be paid by Owner. <br /> 6-153 AS BUILT DRAWINGS <br /> A. The Contractor shall be required to work up a drawing or a print sizing and locating <br /> all underground lines. This drawing must be submitted to the Owner upon completion <br /> of job. <br />
