In the event that spillage occurs upon hose disconnection, the <br /> remaining small amount of petroleum product will be caught in a 10 gallon <br /> capacity leakproof container (CtdI) . The product in the spill container <br /> will then be drained into the tank by opening a manually operated valve <br /> located in the spill container. <br /> b. Waste Oil Tank: •7i�� �12�rodt��GC,'12o�ro� u/iG� $� ,¢�� <br /> 1. Facility is equipped with waste oil buckets which hold a maximum capacity of <br /> three (3) gallons (about 3 to 4 cars worth of waste oil) . <br /> 2. Prior to dumping any waste oil, operator is to gauge the tank to assure <br /> holding capacity is greater than that which will be put into the tank. <br /> 3. Waste oil is poured into the tank via a drain funnel located in the <br /> building. <br /> 4. Waste oil tank is equipped with a fiberglass containment/spill box <br /> surrounding the tank pump out riser. Should a spill occur while <br /> disconnecting the waste oil pump out hose, any oil remaining in the hose will <br /> be contained by the containment box. <br /> c. Clean-up/Records: <br /> 1. Small spills (less than 1 gallon and only requiring 15 minutes to clean up) <br /> will be cleaned up using absorbent materials. <br /> 2. Larger spills will be reported to the Owner by the maintenance supervisor or <br /> delivery truck driver before returning to the terminal. The Owner will <br /> notify a local Petroleum Maintenance Contractor who is equipped with a <br /> N.F.P.A. approved type hand pump, vacuum and transport container. <br /> 3. Spills will be cleaned up within 8 hours of detection, returned to local <br /> terminal and/or disposed of in a lawful manner. <br /> 4. Owner shall record all spills whether it is due to delivery overfill or <br /> accidental spillage, which exceeds approximately one gallon, and action taken <br /> on recordable discharge log. <br /> 10. FACILITY INSPECTIONS: <br /> a. Weekly inspections shall be made of: <br /> 1. Submerged pump boxes <br /> 2. Fill boxes (also inspected after each delivery) <br /> 3.
