Apply compound by spray method in two (2) <br /> coats, the second at right angles to first. Apply <br /> without delay on newly finished surface, at coverage <br /> rate for each coat as recommended by manufacturer. <br /> Protect integrity of membrane and touch up damaged <br /> spots immediately. <br /> 6. FINISH: Float and steel trowel slabs monolithically to <br /> smooth but non-slip finish, surface tolerance shall not <br /> exceed 1/8" in 10' from true flat plane. When required, <br /> provide slope for positive drainage without waterholding <br /> areas. Application of cement dust coat is prohibited. <br /> Accomplish cement finishing in continuous operation until <br /> completed. <br /> Apply broomed type non-slip finish across direction of <br /> traffic after final trowelling. <br /> 8 . 1 ELECTRICAL WORK <br /> A. SCOPE OF WORK: Furnish and install the complete electrical <br /> system for fuel dispensing system as shown and/or noted on the <br /> Drawings. <br /> 1. Electrical service from feeders, branch circuits and <br /> grounding system. <br /> 2 . All future conduits shown shall be run to pump islands <br /> and stubbed up inside multiple pump dispensers. <br /> B. STANDARDS AND CODES: <br /> 1. Materials, workmanship and testing shall conform to <br /> standards of NEMA, IEEE, NFPA, and USAIA. <br /> 2 . Standards of the National Board of Fire Underwriters as <br /> set forth in the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70. <br /> 3 . Title 24 , Part 3 , of the California Administrative Code. <br /> Rules and Regulations of the California State Fire <br /> Marshal and California State Division of Industrial <br /> Safety. <br /> 4 . Rules and regulations of local authorities and utilities. <br /> C. LICENSES, PERMITS, FEES AND UTILITY CHARGES: The CONTRACTOR <br /> shall pay for all permits, licenses, fees, etc. <br />
