CHARTER WAY" <br /> Dear Magellon Construction Co. : <br /> This letter will indicate Health Department approval of drawings <br /> submitted for the proposed "CHARTER WAY CHEVRON -- 508 W. CHARTER <br /> WAY" subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Restrooms, food service, open food storage, food <br /> preparation, janitorial, walk-in refrigeration and utensil <br /> washing areas are to be provided with continuous/contiguous <br /> floor coving to a height of four inches (41') and provide <br /> three-eighths of an inch (3/811) radius at the floor/wall <br /> juncture (NO RUBBER TOP SET BASE IN THESE AREAS) . CURFFL <br /> 27631 <br /> 2 . The plans submitted lack an equipment list. Provide an <br /> equipment list (include manufacturers, specifications and/or <br /> cutsheets) as soon as possible. Final approval for the <br /> proposed facility will be contingent on submittal of this <br /> list. <br /> 3 . All ice machines and bins, food preparation sinks, <br /> dishwashing sinks (dishwashing units) , display cases and <br /> refrigeration units and any other food service equipment <br /> which discharge liquid waste shall be disposed therein by an <br /> indirect connection through an air gap (Height of air gap <br /> must equal two times the inside diameter of the discharge <br /> tube. H=2xI .D. ) into a floor sink or other approved waste <br /> receptors. All floor sinks are to be positioned to be <br /> readily cleanable, accessible for inspections, and must be <br /> flush with finished floor. CURFFL 27625 & 27631 <br /> 4 . Ceiling panels in food preparation and/or service areas <br /> shall be durable, smooth (NO TEXTURE) , and nonabsorbent, <br /> washable surface.
