This information was required to be submitted by 7-5-14; RTC form only was <br />received on 9-29-2014. This information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An <br />operator that receives an inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement <br />documenting corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written <br />response documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection <br />report. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />304 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain adequate aisle space for unobstructed response to emergencies. <br />One 55 -gallon container, which was not empty and had a hazardous waste label, was blocked by several heavy <br />boxes. Adequate aisle space shall be maintained to allow the unobstructed movement of personnel, fire protection. <br />spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment to all areas of facility operation in an emergency. <br />Immediately maintain aisle space to allow the unobstructed movement of personnel, fire protection, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment to any area of facility operation in an emergency. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />404 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br />Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. A peeling hazardous waste label on one of the 55 -gallon <br />containers and another blocked 55 -gallon hazardous waste container were noted. Hazardous waste container storage <br />and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the <br />containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin conducting the necessary weekly <br />inspections for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />601 <br />CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br />One 55 -gallon black (non -empty) container had an accumulation start date of 2-24-14 and one had a peeling unfilled <br />hazardous waste label, both these containers were located behind the store inside fenced in storage area . Facilities <br />who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at <br />any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
