Medical waste haulers are required to <br /> be registered hazardous waste haulers through the Department of Toxic Substances Control and <br /> approved to haul medical waste through the California Department of Public Health. Waste <br /> pharmaceuticals are required to be incinerated [or treated according to 118215(c)] pursuant to <br /> the MWMA. This is a violation of 118222(b) HSC.
