Grant Line Rd., Tracy Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> 30. An empty 55 gallon metal container was observed with a blank hazardous waste label. The <br /> container has rusted through in several places. Per owner, the container has been stored on site since <br /> he purchased the property five years ago and the previous contents of the container is unknown. An <br /> empty container larger than five gallons in capacity which has previously held a hazardous material or <br /> hazardous waste shall be marked as empty, with the date it was emptied, and managed within one year <br /> of being emptied. Immediately manage this container in accordance with Title 22 regulations. Submit a <br /> copy of the disposal receipt to the EHD within 30 days (9/10/10). <br /> 85. Records for disposal of universal wastes (fluorescent bulbs, alkaline batteries, electronics, mercury <br /> containing items) were not available on site. Per owner, the fluorescent bulbs have been taken by <br /> PG&E when they change them. No record of this was available. A generator shall keep a record of <br /> each shipment of universal waste on site for at least three years. The record may take the form of a log, <br /> invoice, manifest, bill of lading, or other shipping document, and shall include the following.. <br /> - Name & address of destination facility <br /> - Quantity of each type of universal waste <br /> - Date of departure <br /> Begin this practice immediately. (REPEAT VIOLATION) <br /> Complete & submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD within 30 days (9/10/10) <br /> along with any supporting paperwork and a statement documenting the corrective actions that have <br /> been or will be taken for each violation. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> THIS FACILITY IS ECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD I c or: Received By: Title: <br /> EHD 23-02-00306/01/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
