0
back-haul tires can be obtained from CIWMB Keith Cambridge if hauler is not registered
and if load is a back-haul.
Confusion about storage container laws were discussed at length.
Inspection at 3730 N Wilson Way was conducted by LN,RM, and JR accompanied by
above mentioned Brannon personnel. Site inspection began at northwest corner of site at
offices and continued east and south around the retread plant. Then, inspection continued
west and southeast into property at 3550 N Wilson Way, the open air Flea Market(Flea
Market)where Brannon rents a portion of the secured parking lot for trailer storage.
Approximately fifty trailers were unlocked by Brannon personnel and inspected by LN,
RM, or JR. A map of the trailers was drawn by JR during inspection of trailers on
CIWMB Form 183. Photos were taken. See OIR.
At 2:15 pm inspection was complete. All trailers that contained tires at the Flea Market
were totaled to approximate 1131 tires. The site at 3550 N Wilson would need to obtain a
TPID# and was in violation of storage standards. It was agreed between JB, LN, and RM
that the site at 3730 Wilson Way contained over 5,000 tires.
JB agreed to bring amount of used tires at Alpine yard and Flea Market to less than 500,
comply with storage standards, and to organize used, treadable tires at 3730 Wilson site
by racking and stacking in accordance with Storage Standards to bring total of waste tires
below 3,000 for Retread Facility. This effort to be completed within 30 days.
