(Aegis), proposes the following work plan to conduct a Limited
Additional Site Assessment at the subject site (Figure 1). The purpose of the proposed
work plaris to further define the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in
soil and groundwater beneath the site. The site investigation would include the drilling
and sampling of two soil borings to be completed as groundwater monitoring wells MW-4
and MW-5. Additionally, it is proposed to reconstruct the existing MW-1A as a
6-inch-diameter groundwater monitoring/vapor extraction well by over-coring and
- reconstruction.
The proposed work is based on a detailed review of prior work performed at the site by
- previous consultants and recent groundwater monitoring (Aegis Quarterly Monitoring
Report, dated April 15, 1991)• Further information was provided to Aegis by the San
Joaquin County Public Health Services Department (SJCPHSD) and Moore Petroleum,
- Inc. This work plan is subject to modifications as newly acquired information may
warrant. The work will be performed in accordance with the guidelines and
recommendations of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Department, the Tri-
Regional Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and the Leaking Underground Fuel
Tank (LUFT) Manual.
1 - 90-048A.WPN
