r <br /> r• <br /> r r <br /> Finally, we would like to propose that loose tires in our customer area that are placed in the vehicle (off <br /> the ground), be counted as'used tires for sale', since that is in fact what they are, and therefore not be <br /> included in the waste tire count. We feel that these tires pose no threat to the waste tire program goals, <br /> as they are not a vector or fire hazard. This is a big sales issue for us, as tires have always been one of <br /> our top selling parts. Since Pick-N-Pull is a self-service store, customers walk the store looking for the <br /> vehicle they need and pull parts off themselves. There are no sales people to help them figure out if they <br /> have the right part. Moving the tires out of the customer area and racking them in the front of the store <br /> would take away from the customer's ability to know what car the tires came from. Without that <br /> knowledge, many of our customers would not know for sure if a specific tire will fit their car.
