Lodi, CA 95240 Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Correct immediately by ensuring that the required documentation for the annual employee training is <br /> maintained and available for review upon request. Submit a copy of this documentation to the EHD by <br /> 6-9-14. <br /> 305. The decontamination emergency eyewash station next to the outdoor sulfuric acid tank lacks the <br /> original eye wash cover and the basin is cracked. This equipment is in disrepair. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br /> decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its <br /> proper operation in time of emergency. Correct immediately by repairing or replacing the eyewash <br /> station to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> 404. During the inspection, the satellite accumulation 55 gallon container of hazardous waste ink was <br /> initially found open. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste. During the inspection, the employee placed the screw in cap to close the drum. <br /> Continue to ensure that containers of hazardous waste are kept closed unless removing or adding <br /> hazardous waste. <br /> 407. Approximately 40 empty 55 gallon hazardous material drums were left at the outside storage area <br /> and were not completely labeled as empty and the with the date they became empty. Containers larger <br /> than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were <br /> emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty <br /> containers per this section. <br /> 601. Two 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste Sol Solv Paint Sludge had an accumulation start date <br /> indicating that it has been on site longer than 90 days. One drum had an accumulation start date of <br /> 12-5-13 and the other was 10-16-13. Facilities who generate greater than 1000 kg of hazardous waste <br /> or one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any <br /> calendar month may store waste on site up to 90 days. Since these containers of hazardous waste <br /> have been on site longer than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 6-9-14. <br /> 602. The satellite accumulation 55 gallon container of hazardous waste ink had an accumulation start <br /> date of 5-1-13. This waste has been on site longer than one year. Satellite containers of hazardous <br /> waste must not be held on site for more than one year from the initial date of accumulation.
