Guild Rd. Lodi, CA 95240 Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> the manifest to the EHD by 6-9-14. <br /> 605. Four 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste Sol Solv (Paint Sludge) did not have indicated the <br /> hazardous waste property on each drum label. Five containers of waste oil less than five gallons each <br /> were left in the hazardous waste storage area. Only one was labeled as waste oil All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> During the inspection the employee marked toxic on each drum label. For the five containers of waste <br /> oil, immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the containers of waste oil have been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 6-9-14. <br /> Continue to ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> 605. The T10 hazardous waste tank had the incorrect accumulation start date of December 2012. All <br /> hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start <br /> date. During the inspection, the employee changed it to the date of 5-5-14. Continue to ensure <br /> that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information. <br /> 610. An open container of drained used oil filters was left in the hazardous waste storage area outside. <br /> This container lacked the required label. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, <br /> labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately <br /> containerize the filters, label the container as drained used oil filters, mark the accumulation start date, <br /> and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> 804. Four containers of universal waste(UW) lamps were left open in the northern storage area of the <br /> facility. A UW handler shall manage lamps in a way that prevents releases of any UW or component of <br /> UW to the environment, as follows: <br /> (1) A UW handler shall contain any lamp in a container or package that is structurally sound, adequate <br /> to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of the lamp.
