COMPLAINANT ALLEGES FAMILY <br />MEMBER BECAME ILL AND IS POSSIBLY GOING TO THE DOCTORS. <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />Environmental Health Department <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Upon arrival I spoke with the assistant manager on site. I explained the reason for my visit and was guided to the various <br />locations in the facility garden salad is sold to the consumers. It will be noted that romaine lettuce has been recalled and was <br />removed from the shelves, 11/22/2019, after the facility was sent an email from corporate. The garden salads that are <br />prepackaged have a translucent portion of the packaging which allows the consumer to view the product before purchasing. <br />Then facility also contains a salad bar which is prepared in the kitchen and brought out to the public for them to serve <br />themselves. The salad bar contains a sneeze guard, each item contains its own spoon or tong, and tempted at 36F. The <br />salad that is prepared and then packaged by the facility is stored in a temperature regulated open air cooler, which was <br />tempted at 38F. The salad is only on the shelf for no longer then 3 days. According to the assistant manager, all salads are <br />stocked daily and anysalad that has reached the 3 day mark before being sold is discarded. <br />Observed no violations while on site. <br />Official inspection report emailed. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
