See section 2.2 for sample collection protocol.
• The boreholes will be grouted up with neat cement grout.
• Submit 1-2 soil samples and one groundwater sample to Sherwood Laboratories for
analysis of Chlorinated Solvents and TEPH.
' The local regulatory agency will be notified 48 hours prior'to commencing work. The
subsurface will be cleared of underground utilities by notifying Underground Service Alert.
2.2 Sample Collection Protocol
' Soil
Soil samples will be collected in clean brass tubes. The ends of the tubes will be covered
' with Teflon sheets and then capped with plastic end caps. Each sample tube will be labeled
with a unique identification and placed in an ice chest for transport, under chain of custody,
to the laboratory.
1
