The <br /> quality compliance manager stated that Valley Forklift services the forklifts on site and takes the waste back with <br /> them. <br /> If the used oil is being taken with the service company,the following documentation needs to be kept at the facility <br /> to show that the repair business is following California Health and Safety Code Section 25250.12 under Article 13 of <br /> Management of Used Oil: <br /> -The amount of used oil generated showing that no more than 55 gallons is transferred in the vehicle at any one <br /> time. <br /> -The name and address of where used oil is being transported to. <br /> -The date the used oil is generated. <br /> Used oil filters need to be managed according to hazardous waste laws and regulations. <br /> Used oil that is generated from the compressor area is taken to San Joaquin County Business Hazardous Waste. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the last three years were not found on site. Hazardous waste <br /> generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit the missing <br /> copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> One red 5 gallon bucket containing used oil was observed in the compressor area without a lid. <br /> One 275 gallon container that had powder waste was observed without a lid. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br /> close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 603 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite containers. <br /> In the compressor area, five 5 gallon buckets containing used oil did not have an initial start date marked. The initial <br /> date of waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for satellite <br /> accumulation of hazardous waste.
