Go ahead and start the drilling if you're able before I get there. I'll be onsite around
loam.
also,
1-Jim Barton will be writing the WDR permit for injection of treated gw since Flag City will not take the effluent due
to quantity concerns. you may want to talk to him see if you should strart planning injection well locations/work
plan, and if GWE wells locations/numbers are adequate. Do you plan to test the GWE soon after EW-4 & 5 are
installed?
2-Geotracker does NOT have your X-Y for the monitoring and three extraction wells already installed. Take
steps now to submit all x-y data you have.
-----Original Message-----
From: Jennifer Worsley [mailto:jennifer@apexenvirotech.com]
Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2005 4:49 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: RE: New West
Since this is such a high priority site, as you have said yourself, I would hope that you could accommodate
with the permits. With you scheduling and approving drilling yourself, during our last well installs(MW-5
and MW-6), before Apex had the permits in to you, I figured this would have been plenty of time this go
around for you to approve the permits. Let me know if this procedure has changed for this phase of the
project, since getting the rest of the EW wells installed is a priority to progress on the system installation. I
was being proactive as possible to get the EW's in by letting you know we had the drilling scheduled and
that you would be getting the permits in a day or so; and with your quick permit approval response before, I
didn't see this as a problem.
I have attached a rough schedule for the system installation, weather permitting and if everything goes
smoothly with permitting and trenching. We are planning on discharging to a storm drain inlet which is
located onsite and we should be able to discharge soon after having the system installed.
As for taking over wells from Chevron, it looks like we would be interested in wells MW-19 and MW-20.
Jennifer
From: Mike Infurna [EH] [mailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2005 11:17 AM
To: Jennifer Worsley
Subject: RE: New West
I cannot accept an appointment for drilling when the permit hasn't been issued, let alone received. I'm
scheduled for drills thru 12-2-05 on sites with permits already issued. Assuming there's no problem with
your application and forms, I will issue the permit first chance I get. I will advise you of the status. Plan on
drilling sometime soon after 12-2 if I can not find someone to cover for me, assuming your permit is issued
in time to start 11-30..
additionally, please update me with your construction plans for the remediation complex, the ability to use
County water treatment area for your discharge and/or Colani's irrigation ditch, the chances of
11/28/2005
