f
Ms. Lisa Tuck 9 - 2 - 17 November 2000
We also require in the annual report both the final expected date each cleanup activity will be
completed (e.g., soil vapor extraction, groundwater extraction, soil excavation in a particular area,
etc.), and the expected date when groundwater cleanup goals will be met, or when cleanup is no
longer technologically and economically feasible. Pioneer will be required to conduct additional
cleanup activities to come into compliance with the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Act.
• As stated in the third paragraph of the MRP, the MRP is issued pursuant to Section 13267 of the
California Water Code under the signature of the Regional Board's Executive Officer. California
Water Code Section 13267 information requirements are orders, are enforceable, and can result in
administrative civil liability if Pioneer does not comply with the MRP.
MRP No. 5-00-846 is now in effect and shall be followed for the fourth quarter 2000 monitoring event.
The next monitoring report due is the annual report on 30 April 2001. If you have any questions, you
may contact Joseph Mello, the Board's project manager, at (916) 255-3077.
WEND'Y L.
