All groundwater samples were analyzed for the
presence of TPHGas,BTEX constituents, and MTBE. The measured direction of groundwater flow was
toward the northeast. This was consistent with previous flow direction measurements. Dissolved
petroleum hydrocarbons were detected at all wells except,MW-3,MW-7, and MW-9. The measured
concentrations were consistent with those detected previously at the subject site.Despite the absence of
petroleum hydrocarbons at well MW-3,there were 28.0 ppb MTBE detected.Further testing of MTBE
will aid in confirming its presence and distribution in groundwater beneath the subject site.
If you have any questions or comments,I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely,
Brett L.Hunter
Environmental Engineer
Site Assessment and Remediation
Attachment
cc: Elizabeth Thayer, Central Valley RWQCB, Sacramento, CA
Kyle Christie, ARCO Products Co., 2155 South Bascom Ave., Ste. 202, Campbell, CA 95008
Steve Misner,Brown and Caldwell, 9616 Micron Ave., Suite. 600, Sacramento, CA 95827
Kent O'Brien, Geraghty&Miller, 1050 Marina Way South,Richmond, CA 94804
