Chevron/W. BenDamin Holt Drive
June 2990
t
WELL MONITORING AND SAMPLING _
i
3 After development, all seven groundwater monitoring wells
will be monitored to determine depth to groundwater and to check
for the possible presence of phase-separated floating
hydrocarbons. These data will be used to determine the
groundwater gradient.
Any wells that do not contain phase-separated floating
hydrocarbons will be sampled. Water samples will be taken in
accordance with the procedures presented in Appendix A. Samples
F will be collected and analyzed for the presence of BTEX and TPH-
as-gasoline. These samples will be analyzed at the GTEL facility
in Concord, California using EPA Methods 5030/8020/8015 .
During sampling, Groundwater Technology plans to determine
the levels of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide in the
groundwater by means of field measurements. These data could be
useful in assessing possible groundwater remediation options.
z REPORTING
i
r At the conclusion of all field work, Groundwater Technology
will issue a detailed report that presents the results and
findings of this phase of the site assessment. This report will
include details of waste disposal. A separate letter presenting
recommendations for any additional assessment, possible
remediation strategies, and/or additional recommended field
investigations will be presented.
CV GROLNDAIATER
K_ TECHNOLOGY, INC
