(AGE) <br /> has prepared the enclosed Work Plan Addendum for 104 West Beverly Place in Tracy, California <br /> (the site). The work plan includes the collection of soil and grab ground water samples from the <br /> property at 52 West Beverly Place (APN 4 233-15-14). The scope of work will be located on the <br /> property directly east of the site. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 - Location Map. <br /> A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan. <br /> 1.0. LOCATION AND UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> The site is located in a residential area of central Tracy, California, in San Joaquin County. One <br /> small capacity underground storage tank (UST) was removed from the site in early 1988. Ground <br /> water was encountered in the tank excavation during removal, contained dissolved petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons. The former UST area was over excavated in August 1995 to remove remaining <br /> impacted soil. Hydrocarbon-impacted soil was excavated to a depth of 8 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg). <br /> 2.0. SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> Six soil probe boringswere advanced at the site on 20 December 1996. Both soil and ground water <br /> samples collected contained petroleum hydrocarbons. On 01 and 02 July 1996, soil borings MW-1 <br /> through MW-4 were drilled and completed as ground water monitoring wells. Total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) and benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes <br /> (BTE&X) were detected in the highest concentrations in wells MW-1 and M.W-4, located down- <br /> gradient (north) of the former UST excavation. <br /> 4005 North Wilson Way,Stockton,California 95205 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br />
