Spingolo Trucking Page 2
1011 N. Broadway Ave. June 25, 2008
Stockton, CA
3. The ground water flow direction according to quarterly monitoring reports prepared
by AGE has been predominantly to the southwest at this site. and there is no
groundwater monitoring well to the southwest of the former UST locations to
investigate if there is impact to the ground water down-gradient of the former UST
area.
Therefore, a work plan should be submitted to EHD by July 30, 2008, for additional soil and
ground water investigation (including installation of a monitoring well southwest of the former
UST area) as well as a soil vapor emissions investigation. After the work plan is approved, the
required EHD well permit application(s) and fees must be submitted to the EHD. After the EHD
issues the well permit(s), the work should be completed within 30 days. A report on the work
should be submitted to the EHD within 60 days of the completion of the work.
Once the site data shows the extent of the contamination in the soil and ground water and it can
be demonstrated that the residual contamination does not pose a risk to human health and the
environment, the findings can be included in a No Further Action Required report request
following the CVRWQCB Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations Appendix A.
If you have any questions, please contact Harlin Knoll at (209) 468-3442.
Harlin Kno"RFEHS, MargLagorio, RE S
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
CC: James Barton, CVRWQCB
Bill Little, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, CA 95215
