Activity Log: <br /> Date/Time Notable Activities <br /> 5-25-2015 (EM) 9:11 am: Received a page from Jamie DeLaRosa (815-2985), Shell pipeline at 25775 <br /> Patterson Pass Road, 2-3 gallons of heavy crude oil had leaked. Called Robert Marshal at <br /> 661-979-5275, left a voice message. Looked up facility in CERS, gas station. Called all the <br /> numbers listed on the emergency contact list, 209-920-4345 Nalesh Patel, who stated that <br /> there is no spill that they know of at their facility, left my contact information for them to <br /> check on it and call me back. 9:40 am, received a call back from Robert Marshal who <br /> stated that he is the area supervisor and he is in Bakersfield area and will be traveling to <br /> the site, the spill is right behind the station, the fire has been extinguished, the shipping <br /> pump caught on fire. Incident occurred around 7:30 am today. Received a phone call from <br /> facility at 25775 Patterson Pass Road, no still was reported for this address. Arrived onsite <br /> at 25775 Patterson Pass Road, walked around the facility, could not see anything onsite or <br /> behind the station. Called and left a message with Robert Marshal, waited for a call back. <br /> Received a call from Robert Marshal, who provided directions to the facility which is <br /> located at the end of access road which starts behind the aforementioned gasoline station. <br /> 10:45 am arrived at Shell Pipeline facility. Met with David Harder, who estimated the <br /> release of approximately 150 gallons. Patriot will initiate clean-up in a few hours and are <br /> waiting on the equipment to arrive. Could not get close to the spill area, took pictures from <br /> the edge of exclusion zone. Facility requires fire retardant PPE to enter the exclusion zone, <br /> didn't have the appropriate PPE to enter the area. Patriot, the clean-up representative <br /> (Jonathan Speir) arrived onsite. Went over the plan to remove gravelly covering around <br /> pumps, expose and excavate all impacted underlying soil, left site at 1 pm. Provided <br /> updates to Kasey F (program coordinator), throughout the day. 3:32 pm, called David <br /> Harder, who stated that clean-up was initiated and will take probaly around 6 hours from <br /> now to complete, provided update to Kasey F, will issue a notice to abate f residual clean <br /> 8.
