19 November 1999 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 99-0604 <br /> Page 4 of 10 <br /> Approximately 10 feet south of former well DW-1; <br /> • Approximately 20 feet east-northeast of former DW-1; and <br /> • Approximately 20 feet northwest of former DW-3. <br /> Initially, AGE anticipates advancement of each boring to a depth of approximately 60 feet. However, <br /> total depths of soil borings will be based on field observations and field screening using an organic <br /> vapor monitor (OVM). Soil samples will be collected from each boring at five-foot intervals <br /> beginning at a depth of approximately 20 feet bsg to the total depth, Field procedures for <br /> advancement of borings and collection of soil samples are presented in Section 4.1.; collection of <br /> grab ground water samples are presented in Section 4.2. <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents: <br /> • TPH-d (diesel) and TPH-mo (motor oil) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes in accordance with EPA Method 8020; and <br /> • RCRA 8 Metals (arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and silver <br /> in accordance with appropriate EPA 6010 and 7000 series. <br /> 3.3. IN`-SITU GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> During the soil assessment activities, depth-discrete ground water samples will be collected from <br /> each of the soil borings, if possible. In-situ ground water sample collection procedures are presented <br /> — in Section 4.2. <br /> Selected ground water samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for the following <br /> constituents: <br /> • TPH-d (diesel) and TPH-mo (motor oil) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes in accordance with EPA Method 8020; <br /> _ • RCRA 8 Metals(arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and silver <br /> in accordance with appropriate EPA 6010 and 7000 series. <br /> • Volatile organics in accordance with EPA Method 8260; and <br /> • Semi-Volatile organics in accordance with EPA Method 8270. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental.Inc. <br />
