Foley and dated November 29, 1988. The proposed tank installation is adjacent to the location of previouslyremoved tanks which had some associated soil and groundwater contamination. We recognize the need to 'begin re- mediation of this problem and have notified Mr. }Cordon Boggs of the Regional Water Board to this effect. Specif`icall'y we are prepared to proceed immediately with a site invgstigation follow- ing the guidelines of the Board. Within 30 days of completing this investigation we will file a remedial action plan which will address both soil and groundwater contamination at the site: . Within 30 days of receiving authori2ation from the Board we will begin implementation of the plan. ? We recognize that the installation of the new tanks in no way alters our responsibility to remediate the soilll,and groundwater at the site.
