I am assuming you are
looking to inspect this facility because it was on your priority list. I looked into the past inspections and I see that
you did an inspection there in January of this year. Therefore, we would advise that you wait until at least
January 2015 to perform the annual inspection. If a facility is not up for inspection, meaning it has been less than
a year, you are allowed to skip over it on your priority list and do other facilities and go back when the time has
passed. If I have misunderstood or if you have any questions please let me know.
Thank you,
Nikki
From: Benjamin Escotto [EH] [mailto:bescotto@sicehd.com]
Sent: Monday,August 18, 2014 3:54 PM
To:Castagneto, Nicole@CalRecycle
Cc: Robert McClellon [EH]
Subject:Scheduling Waste Tire Inspection
Hello Nikki,
My name is Ben Escotto and I work for the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. I would like
to schedule with CalRecycle a waste tire inspection at Waste Recovery West(TPID: 1608939-01) located at 4554
S. EI Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95206. This site is a major waste tire facility. My understanding is that for such
permitted facilities,a joint CalRecycle/TEA inspection must be done. Let me know what is the next step. I am writing to confirm that you
received your TEA 21 priority work plan and to see if you have any questions or concerns.
