The groundwater testing confirmed that gasoline has impacted the <br /> E groundwater_ Subsequently, on March 1$, 2005; the ,San Joaquin County <br /> t EHD issued a "Notice of Unauthorized Release'. The County directive <br /> requesting a Work Plan was issued on May 17, 2005. <br /> Q <br /> 1 <br /> P <br /> 3.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following tasks will be completed to accomplish the goals of this Work <br /> Plan: <br /> f <br /> - . Drill and construct four new groundwater monitoring wells to <br /> investigate the extent of gasoline-impacted groundwater. <br /> • Complete a receptor survey by obtaining !information about nearby <br /> water production wells. <br /> • Complete a detailed report documenting :;the fieldwork and <br /> summarizing the laboratory analytical work. The report will discuss <br /> the results and implications of the data and will make <br /> recommendations regarding the future course of action. <br /> 4.0 FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> The attached site map shows the subject Property and its improvements. <br /> k Locations of the four proposed wells are shown on the map as is the former <br /> tank location and the previously installed Geo-Probe soil borings. One well <br />' (designated MW-1) will be located through the original tank pit. Three other <br /> wells (MW-2, -3, and -4) will be located around the point of release as shown <br /> on the site map_ <br /> The groundwater surface in this part occurs about 9 feet below grade. The <br /> wells will be equipped with 15 feet of screened liner from about 5 feet to 20 , <br /> feet below ground level. <br /> L <br /> 4.1 Preliminary Site Work <br /> Preliminary work will consist of obtaining a permit to install monitoring <br /> wells from the San Joaquin County EHD.
