Business Loop 205, Tracy
Page 2
Groundwater analysis for TPH, MTBE, and BTEX has been performed on
samples from all 12 monitoring wells since they werei'first constructed. Analysis
of these constituents shall be continued.
Groundwater samples from MW-1 through MW-4 have been analyzed for ETBE,
TAME, DIPE, and TBA for only six quarters and EDB and 1',2 DCA for only one
quarter. Groundwater samples from MW-5 & 6 have been analyzed for ETBE,
TAME, DIPS, TBA, EDB and 1,2 DCA only once. Groundwater samples from
MW-7 through MW-12 have not been analyzed for ETBE, TAME, DIPE, TBA,
EDB and 1,2 DCA. Therefore, groundwater samples from all the monitoring
wells should be analyzed for ETBE, TAME, DIPE, TBA, EDB and 1,2 DCA (in
addition to TPH, BTEX and MTBE) for a minimum of two quarters of
groundwater sampling. If the results after two quarters of sampling for the ETBE,
TAME, DIPE, TBA, EDBand 1,2 DCA are non-detect':(ND) using appropriate
methods and detection limits, they can be eliminated from the suite of analytes
G being tested.
If you have any questions, please contact Frank Girardi at (209) 953-7868.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Frank Girardi , Senior REHS "'Margare Lagorio, REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Program Coordinator
Ila c: Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. _ Brian Millman
c: RWQCB, Central Valley Region - Jim Barton
