He went on to say he wanted updates
regarding access to the remaining properties, a schedule, and 48 hours notice prior
to starting field activities.
The way I see it, you have an approved work plan. If you modify it, then you'll need
Lead agency approval. Shelton can either generate a letter approving the
revised/modified work plan or call me and say it's ok to implement. The EHD does
NOT require an additional work plan, but will want a copy of one if it's required by
your Lead agency.
Your Lead agency dictates your field work. If this work is on the Consistent
Technical Approach (CTA) format, then follow that protocol. I'm under the
impression NO work plan is needed for the CTA....just do the work (under EHD
permit) and get the report to your Lead.
you'll need to determine if the work you're proposing now in 2009 follows the
approved 2008 work plan. if not, check with Shelton to see if he wants a
revision/addn/more.
based on what he says, we'll go from there.
From: Hernandez, Alejandra [mailto:ALEJANDRA.HERNANDEZ@saic.com]
Sent: Wednesday, November 04, 2009 11:38 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Ibrahim, Mohamed N.
Subject: Work Plan for Boring Permits-Tracy Byron Road
Hello Mike,
I wanted to give you an update on Tracy Byron Road. We are currently working on a Work Plan
for this site before sending a permit request. Two questions came up regarding the work plan for
this site: Did you need the work plan to be board certified? And, what type of work plan do you
need for the permits (i.e. a few paragraphs in e-mail format, detailed work plan, etc.)?
Let me know what the required work plan is for boring permits in San Joaquin County.
Thank you,
Alejandra Hernandez I SAIC
Geologist I Engineering and Infrastructure
phone: 916.979.3622 1 fax 916.979.3735
mobile: 916.475.5893 1 email: hernandezale@saic.com
11/5/2009
