Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Hernandez, Alejandra [ALEJANDRA.HERNANDEZ@saic.com]
Sent: Monday, October 12, 2009 10:27 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Ibrahim, Mohamed N.
Subject: Tracy Byron Road -figure
Attachments: HPP TracyByronRd_Fig3_proposed_2009_10.pdf
Hello Mike,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
As promised, I have attached a figure of our proposed borings for Tracy Byron Road. We will be drilling
three borings (SB-42, SB-43, and SB-45). As of now, we only have one contingency boring (south of
SB-42). Since we are drilling up-gradient to groundwater, we do not expect to encounter contaminated
soil/groundwater; however, in the event that visually observed contaminated soil is encountered, we
would like to drill step out borings. Would you recommend that we acquire permits for a total of 6
borings (3 borings and 3 contingency) all at once, or would we be able to obtain 2 additional boring
permits when/if needed?
The four borings are located on the following APN #'s:
SB-42 and contingency boring, 238-050-001,
SB-43 (and possible contingency), 238-050-009, and
SB-45 (and possible contingency), 238-570-013.
If I understood you correctly, we will be submitting three applications for vertical soil borings (one for
each APN #). Please, correct me if this information is not correct.
I look forward to working with you.
Thank you,
Alejandra Hernandez I SAIC
Geologist I Engineering and Infrastructure
phone: 916.979.3622 1 fax 916.979.3735
mobile: 916.475.5893 1 email: her..n...a_nd...e...zale@5Qrn
Science Applications International Corporation
3800 Watt Ave.,Suite 210
Sacramento,CA 95821
www.saic.com
Energy I Environment I National Security i Health i Critical Infrastructure
Please consider the environment before printing this email.
This e-mail and any attachments to it are intended only for the identified recipients. It may contain proprietary or otherwise legally protected information of SAIC.Any unauthorized
use or disclosure of this communication is strictly prohibited. If you have received this communication in error, please notify the sender and delete or otherwise destroy the e-mail
and all attachments immediately.
10/12/2009
