' Lee Higgins - 3- 6 August 2010
Chevron. Mountain House Site#B
Based on my review, I have the following comments:
• Affected soil and groundwater has been adequately defined and additional
characterization is not needed.
The crude oil affected soil and groundwater found at the Site resides primarily within
and beneath the utility/highway corridor easements and beneath a portion of an
adjacent agricultural field,
• It is unlikely that new groundwater wells would be installed within the project area due to
limited access to the utility corridor and considering the available water supply provided
by the nearby Mountain House Community Services District.
A human health risk screening assessment and an ecological receptor survey
evaluation may be prepared and should be based on the current and anticipated future
use(s) of the Site.
I
'1
