Procedure <br /> Suspend a 0.75HP submersible pump (1.25" discharge) off the bottom of the well from a chain. <br /> Plumb to activated carbon filters with 1 1/4" schedule 40 PVC. Use three 2,0001b Activated Carbon <br /> Filters in series. Discharge to City of Stockton sanitary sewer system under discharge permit from <br /> the City of Stockton. Per the City's requirements provide a Lower Explosive Limit monitor with <br /> auto shut off set at a threshold of 10%. Provide flow meter to track monthly discharges. Provide <br /> metering valve to keep discharge under 15gpm as required by the City's discharge permit. Provide <br /> a hose bib at all monitoring sample points. <br /> Discharge Requirements <br /> The discharge will be to the City of Stockton's sanitary sewer under a discharge permit issued by the <br /> City of Stockton. The City's requirements are: <br /> Metals: 6.0 mg/l arsenic <br /> 2.0 mg/l cadmium <br /> 6.0 mg/l copper <br /> 4.0 mg/l cyanide, total <br /> 2.0 mg/l lead <br /> 0.1 mg/l mercury <br /> 5.0 mg/l nickel <br /> 1.5 mg/l silver <br /> 5.0 mg/l chromium, total <br /> 7.0 mg/l zinc <br /> Fats: 200 mg/l animal/vegetable oil <br /> 100 mg/l mineral/petroleum oil <br /> pH: 5.0-10.0 pH <br /> Temp: 150° F temperature (at point of discharge) <br /> Fuel: 4.57 mg/l TTO (including BTEX) <br /> 0.5 mg/l benzene <br /> Fuel Additives: <0.5 µg/l Methyl-t-Butyl Ether (MTBE) <br /> <0.5 Vg/l Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPS) <br /> <0.5 ltg/l Ethyl-t-Butyl Ether (ETBE) <br /> <0.5 µg/l t-Amyl Methyl Ether (TAME) <br /> <5.0 µg/l t-Butyl Alcohol (TBA) <br /> Analytical Testing <br /> Testing will be for Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Total Xylenes (BTEX), Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons as Gasoline(TPHg),Fuel Additives(oxygenates and lead scavengers)MTBE,ETRE, <br /> TAME, RIPE, TBA, 1,2-DCA, and EDB. In addition,testing will be performed for LUFT Metals <br /> (Cd, Cr, Pb, Ni, Zn) as requested by the City of Stockton. <br /> Testing intervals <br /> LUFT Metals: <br /> Testing collected from the pump test indicates that the ground water will not produce excessive <br /> metals. During operation, monthly monitoring for LUFT Metals at the system discharge will be <br /> performed. <br />
