The following is the findings of
the survey.
On 25 October 2005, representatives of AGE performed a file review at Department of Water
. Resources (DWR). Well-drillers reports for sections 32 and 33 of Township 1 South, Range 9 East,
and sections 4 and 5 of Township 2 South, Range 9 East were reviewed. Copies of the well driller's
reports are attached; a summary of water wells located from the review of well driller's reports is
included in Table A 1, locations of the wells are depicted on Figure Al.
On 27 October 2005,representatives of AGE performed an area reconnaissance for visible potential
receptors and well driller's reports indicated within a 2,000-foot radius of the above referenced site.
' During the reconnaissance a property owner on 2od Street, Escalon, California confirmed that
residents in the area are supplied with drinking water from the City of Escalon. None of the water
wells located from a review of well driller's reports were identified during the reconnaissance.
I However, ground water monitoring wells were located at an apparent leaking underground fuel tank
(LUFT) investigation.
I On 31 October 2005, a representative of AGE contacted Mr. Doug Stidham, director of Public
Works and Engineering for the City of Escalon. According to Mr. Stidham one municipal well is
located within 2,000-feet of the site. Identified as municipal well #1, it is located at the end of
Roosevelt Street, approximately 1,700' southeast from the site. Mr. Stidham also identified two
additional municipal wells located more than 2,000 feet from the site. Municipal wells#3A and#6,
are located 3,200' south and 2,900' north of the site, respectively. Mr. Stidham confirmed the
presence of monitoring wells at an open LUFT investigation located at the intersection between
Escalon Avenue. and Yosemite Avenue., approximately 1,000' northwest of the site.
